Ryan’s first CD Open All Night is the long awaited companion to his live performances. Most songs were recorded as they are presented live, with just Ryan and his acoustic guitar. The album also features collaborations with Peter Mulvey, his brother blues guitarist Todd Fitzsimmons, and many other friends he has worked with over the years. This record is a statement of his history, where Ryan takes all the diners, gas stations, smoky bars, and side streets that he’s come across and extracts the human element, drawing the listener in with the questions and emotions that these places resonate. Couple that with the inspired guitar playing and dynamic presentation and this album will prove what has been drawing audiences to Ryan’s live performances for years
